Hanging a Hammock
, 04 07th, 2011
Hanging a hammock doesn’t have to be a difficult activity. All you need are two sturdy trees or two sturdy posts at approximately 15 feet apart from one another. Trees are preferred, especially ones with high boughs, as they provide shade while you’re lounging.
Drill a hole five feet off the ground using a 3/8 inch drill bit. Take a ½ inch screw eye and hook and attach them tightly to the hole. Hang your hammocks on the hooks and get ready to lie back and relax. If your trees or poles are too far apart, add an S-hook or chain links for length.
